Fatal Influence secured a decisive victory over Paige, Nikki Bella and Brie Bella in a six-woman tag team match at SummerSlam on Saturday night at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. Jacy Jayne finished the contest by executing a Rolling Encore on Paige and securing the pinfall, with Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid joining her in celebration as the trio made their way up the ramp.
What unfolded in the minutes following the match’s conclusion proved far more consequential than the in-ring action itself. While Paige, Brie Bella and Nikki Bella stood acknowledging the crowd’s applause, Nikki Bella suddenly turned on her supposed ally, striking Paige with a clothesline and unleashing a sustained attack. Brie Bella remained detached throughout the assault, offering no assistance to her former tag team partner as the two walked away together.
Paige responded to the betrayal via social media, posting on X: “Oh you f—-d up.” The dissolution marked a dramatic reversal from their partnership’s inception at WrestleMania 42, where Paige stepped in for an injured Nikki Bella and captured the women’s tag team championship alongside Brie Bella before the titles changed hands to Reid and Henley at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
