Broward Crime Stoppers has announced a reward of up to $5,000 for anyone providing information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the fatal shooting of Elijah Salomon. The homicide occurred Monday evening in Hallandale Beach, prompting an ongoing investigation by local authorities.
Officers responded to a 911 call at approximately 10:39 p.m. on Monday near the 1000 block of Pembroke Road, according to the Hallandale Beach Police Department. Emergency responders discovered the victim inside a vehicle suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and provided medical assistance until Broward Sheriff’s Office Fire Rescue arrived. Salomon succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
According to investigators, the actual shooting took place at 642 NW Fourth Court before the vehicle traveled to Pembroke Road, where emergency services were summoned. Detectives are continuing to gather evidence and conduct interviews while the motive remains undetermined. Authorities have made no arrests and report no credible threat to public safety at this time.
