A Florida resident has claimed a winning Mega Millions ticket worth $800 million following Tuesday night’s drawing. The ticket holder matched all six numbers in the game, though the winner’s identity and the retail location where the ticket was purchased remain undisclosed at this time.
The winning combination consisted of the numbers 34, 48, 49, 59, and 70, along with a Mega Ball of 12. Should the winner opt for a lump-sum cash payment rather than an annuity, they would receive $344.2 million, according to information published on the official Mega Millions website.
The next Mega Millions drawing is scheduled for Friday at 11 p.m., with an estimated jackpot of $50 million available to players in that round.
