The Florida Department of Law Enforcement activated an Amber Alert Monday for a 13-year-old girl reported missing from Ocala. Authorities believe Juliet Arioso was kidnapped and is traveling with 45-year-old Jason Castillo, who is considered the suspected abductor.
Law enforcement officials said the pair may be traveling southbound in a red 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe bearing license plate 77ERLW. Arioso is identified as 5-foot-3 with brown hair and brown eyes, according to state police descriptions.
Authorities are urging the public to contact 911 immediately if there are any sightings of the vehicle or the two individuals. Officials emphasized that the public should not attempt to approach them and instead report information directly to emergency services.
