During a Wednesday evening appearance at a Cobb County high school, former President Donald Trump voiced his support for the Tomahawk Chop, the controversial fan gesture performed at Atlanta Braves games. Trump used the occasion to encourage supporters to maintain the tradition, which has faced scrutiny and reduced frequency over recent years.
Former Braves manager Brian Snitker, now an executive with the organization, was present at the event and was invited to the stage by Trump. When fans began performing the chant and accompanying chop motion, Trump responded with visible enthusiasm, declaring “they say you are not allowed to do that.. do it!”
