National Weather Service to Assess Two Potential Tornado Events Across New Jersey

Federal meteorologists plan to conduct field surveys of two suspected tornado occurrences that struck New Jersey, examining damage patterns and atmospheric conditions at both sites. The first suspected tornado was reported near Stanhope, while a second potential twister touched down approximately 20 miles eastward in the Troy Hills area.
