President Donald Trump disclosed on Sunday that the newly acquired Air Force One, a jet provided by Qatar, will be temporarily removed from service to undergo comprehensive security enhancements. The maintenance period is anticipated to last roughly one month, during which the aircraft will receive the upgrades, according to Trump’s statement.
The decision to ground the presidential aircraft follows concerns about its security features that were raised in recent discussions. Trump indicated the jet would be “maxed out” with additional protective measures and technological improvements before returning to operational status.
