A fatal shooting claimed the life of a man Sunday evening at a residential complex in Lauderhill, according to law enforcement officials. Authorities responded to the incident just before 10:15 p.m. at an address in the 6800 block of Landings Drive, where officers discovered the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Residents at the apartment complex reported witnessing the violence firsthand. One witness described hearing conversation followed by screaming and then a barrage of gunfire, prompting neighbors to turn off their televisions and alert authorities when police and emergency sirens arrived minutes later.

Emergency medical personnel from Lauderhill Fire Rescue declared the victim dead at the scene. Detectives investigating the incident have found no clear motive for the shooting and have not identified any suspects in connection with the homicide.
