The Florida Sun Journal is preparing to debut a new daily video podcast, according to an announcement from Editor-in-Chief Kurt Dillon. The 30-minute program will distill the day’s most important news into a concise audiovisual format for audiences with limited time to consume full articles.

The podcast will initially recap the publication’s leading stories of the day. Dillon indicated that the outlet plans to expand the offering over time to include complete multimedia versions of individual articles as they are published online.

Viewers will be able to access early episodes through the “Watch on YouTube” link featured prominently on the website’s homepage. The show will also be distributed across major podcast platforms, including Spotify, iHeartRadio, and Apple Podcasts.

Dillon urged readers to subscribe to both the publication’s YouTube channel and email newsletter when those features become available. He emphasized that subscribers will receive timely notifications about new content without receiving excessive promotional materials.
