Andrew Tate Posts From Miami Federal Jail About Conditions While Awaiting Extradition Hearing

Someone posting on Andrew Tate’s behalf has been sharing messages from his account on social media platform X while he remains detained at FDC Miami. The posts describe harsh jail conditions, including one message comparing a neighboring inmate to a cannibal and another criticizing what Tate characterizes as “the worst possible conditions the U.S. government provides to terrorists and psychopaths.” In another message, Tate questioned how many associates of Jeffrey Epstein were arrested by federal marshals at gunpoint.

The Tate brothers, Andrew and Tristan, are fighting extradition to the United Kingdom on 38 new charges involving rape and trafficking allegations. Both men were arrested in Miami on July 18 and will remain in custody for at least two additional weeks pending their next hearing. Their attorney, Joseph McBride, has maintained their innocence and warned about the psychological effects of solitary confinement on inmates.

McBride stated that he and his legal team maintain frequent contact with the brothers, communicating through Plexiglas barriers during visits. He acknowledged the social media posts while noting that cellphone use in jail is prohibited, suggesting an outside party is managing the accounts on their behalf. McBride indicated that Andrew Tate’s ability to communicate his message to the public through these posts has the team’s support.

The Federal Bureau of Prisons declined to comment on the specific circumstances of the Tates’ incarceration but addressed concerns raised in social media posts about water quality. An agency spokesperson confirmed that FDC Miami receives annual water certifications from Miami-Dade Water and Sewer verifying that drinking water meets safety standards. One post included a photograph purportedly showing discolored water, while another message referenced seeing someone outside the facility.
