Country music artist Kacey Musgraves has scrapped multiple stops on her “Middle of Nowhere” tour, leaving fans disappointed after receiving cancellation notices through Ticketmaster. The 37-year-old performer withdrew from shows at Chicago’s United Center on Aug. 20, Boston’s TD Garden on Aug. 29, and a Brooklyn venue on Sept. 2.
The tour’s opening night, originally planned for Aug. 20 in Chicago, has been postponed to Aug. 21, which coincides with Musgraves’ birthday. Sources close to the artist confirmed to Fox News Digital that she is in good health and that the tour’s revised start date reflects a return to originally scheduled commitments after additional dates were appended following the initial announcement.
Ticketmaster notified concert-goers of the cancellations through automated messages, assuring patrons that refunds would be processed within 7 to 10 business days to their original point of purchase. The “Follow Your Arrow” singer had promoted the tour to support her seventh studio album, “Middle of Nowhere,” released in May through Lost Highway Records.
The 13-track album, inspired by Musgraves’ Texas roots, debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 and achieved No. 1 status on the top album sales chart. The album follows her 2024 release “Deeper Well,” which garnered three Grammy nominations including Best Country Album.
