Johnson’s defenders argue his close relationship with Trump and his fundraising efforts—projected to reach $500 million—demonstrate his commitment to all Republicans, regardless of their caucus affiliation. The Speaker’s ability to maintain control remains unquestioned among allies, despite behind-the-scenes grumbling.
