Crane falls onto Fort Lauderdale house after boom truck tips over

A boom truck tipped over in Fort Lauderdale on Thursday morning, sending a crane onto a home.It happened in the 700 block of Southeast Eighth Street in the city’s Rio Vista neighborhood.According to Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue, nobody was hurt. Video shared by the agency showed that the boom truck belonged to Cooper Crane, a company based in West Park.Video from Sky 10 shows that the crane took out a small section of the outer portion of the home’s roof; it did not appear to have penetrated it.
