A “repeat offender” is at it again. In Pompano Beach, Au Bon Gout Take Out Restaurant was ordered shut after inspectors found a dead rodent and more than 250 rodent droppings throughout the kitchen. Inspectors found about 100 droppings inside the oven, another 75 scattered across the floors, and even more inside pots, on cardboard boxes and around the coolers. The restaurant was previously ordered shut in 2024 and 2018 for roach problems. In Miami, China Express was ordered shut after inspectors found dozens of rodent droppings, including beneath an air-conditioning unit and near the back exit. A follow-up inspection the next day still found additional droppings.
