3 hurt after driver slams into El Palacio de los Jugos in Miami-Dade

First responders were quick to respond after receiving reports of a driver who crashed his or her car into a El Palacio de los Jugos location in the West Kendall area.It happened at the chain’s location at 15110 SW 56th St. According to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue, crews arrived to the scene and discovered the damage to the building, as well as a gas leak.Officials quickly notified the gas company, authorities said. One adult was taken to HCA Florida Kendall Hospital as a trauma patient, according to MDFR, while two others were taken to area hospitals. Officials did not say whether the injured people were in the vehicle at the time of the crash. There was no word from authorities on the circumstances that led up to the car crashing into the building.
