Portion of historic Fort Lauderdale Grand Hotel collapses

A historic hotel in Fort Lauderdale had a piece of its building fall off.Local 10 News cameras captured the Fort Lauderdale Grand Hotel’s front overhang, with a large piece of it appearing to have fallen on the ground. The area outside the hotel was blocked off by yellow tape and parking cones.Fire rescue crews said they responded to the scene on Sunday morning. Officials said there were no reported injuries. There is no word on the cause of the damage or what measures will be taken to repair it.
