Researchers have identified a potential therapeutic option for long COVID sufferers experiencing debilitating fatigue. A randomized clinical trial encompassing 399 adults found that fluvoxamine, an inexpensive antidepressant medication, substantially lessened fatigue symptoms and enhanced overall quality of life compared to placebo treatment.
