A fatal shooting erupted Sunday night along the North Arlington-Kearny border, claiming the lives of two men in their late twenties. The victims, aged 28 and 29, sustained gunshot wounds during what authorities describe as a group altercation in the area.
Both men were transported to Newark hospital, where they succumbed to their injuries. Police have not yet released the identities of the deceased or provided additional details about the circumstances surrounding the confrontation.
The incident remains under investigation by local law enforcement authorities. No information regarding potential suspects or arrests has been disclosed at this time.
