The Broward Sheriff’s Office Missing Persons unit appealed to the public Saturday for information regarding a 17-year-old boy reported missing from West Park. Detectives said Alyjah Allen was last spotted around 2 a.m. Friday in the vicinity of Southwest 46th Avenue’s 3600 block.
Allen is described as standing approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing roughly 130 pounds with brown eyes. At the time of his disappearance, he was dressed in a long-sleeved white shirt, gray pants and white shoes, with hair displaying blue, black and blonde coloring.
Family members indicated that Allen has autism and functions at a high level. Anyone with knowledge of his whereabouts is urged to contact BSO Detective Chris Blankenship at 954-321-4268 or dial the BSO non-emergency line at 954-764-4357.
