KJ Biermann, 15, faces two felony charges stemming from an alleged incident in April, according to court documents reviewed by Fox News Digital. The teenager, whose full name is Kroy Jagger Biermann, was charged August 17 with aggravated sexual battery and aggravated sodomy following an arrest in Alpharetta, Georgia. Under Georgia’s SB440 law, he is being prosecuted as an adult in superior court, a statute permitting jurisdiction over juveniles ages 13 to 17 accused of specific violent felonies.
Kim Zolciak, known for her role on “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” issued a statement through Fox News Digital firmly rejecting the allegations against her son. She characterized the charges as “reckless and deeply troubling,” asserting that her son “categorically denies” any involvement with the accuser or the alleged conduct. Zolciak emphasized that her son voluntarily submitted to a polygraph examination and passed, and that a forensic examination revealed no DNA evidence linking him to the allegations.
The reality television personality also noted that the accuser has made similar allegations against two other individuals, which she said warrants careful review. Zolciak cautioned against conflating false accusations with legitimate claims of sexual assault, arguing that both require proper investigation based on evidence rather than public condemnation. She called for the legal process to proceed without unsubstantiated allegations being publicly circulated.
Biermann is currently detained at the Metro Regional Youth Detention Center without bond pending a preliminary hearing scheduled for September. He is the eldest son of Zolciak and former NFL player Kroy Biermann, who share three other children together before divorcing in 2023 after 11 years of marriage.
