Ring of Honor returned to Philadelphia’s 2300 Arena on Friday for Death Before Dishonor, drawing a crowd that witnessed several high-caliber wrestling matches throughout the evening. The event showcased competitive title defenses and championship transitions that will shape the promotion’s trajectory heading into the final months of the year.

Bandido successfully defended the Ring of Honor World Championship against Nick Wayne in a back-and-forth encounter that featured near-falls and explosive sequences. After Wayne connected with a Prodigy Plex that appeared to secure victory, Bandido countered with a crucifix pin to retain his title and keep the crowd on edge until the final moment.

Athena extended her historic Ring of Honor Women’s Championship reign to 1,350 days by defeating Stardom’s Hazuki in the main event. Despite absorbing significant punishment including a splash on the announce table and a suplex on the entrance ramp aisle, Athena persevered and executed the O-Face for the decisive pin.

Two ROH championships changed hands during the card. Action Andretti captured the ROH TV Championship from Lio Rush in a Fight Without Honor match, marking his first singles title with the promotion, while Lethal Twist claimed the ROH Six-Man Tag Team Championship from The Outrunners and Dalton Castle.
