The Good Brothers claimed the Major League Wrestling Tag Team Championship on “Fusion,” overcoming The Skyscrapers in a decisive matchup. Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson’s victory ended Donovan Dijak and Bishop Dyer’s 317-day reign atop the division, marking a significant milestone for the accomplished tandem.

This championship represents the tenth world tag team title for Gallows and Anderson combined across multiple major wrestling organizations. The pair have previously captured gold in WWE and New Japan Pro-Wrestling, making the MLW accomplishment one of the few remaining championship objectives on their collective resume. Gallows characterized the win as another significant achievement in their storied careers.

“It’s a proud feeling,” Gallows said in comments to OutKick. “After almost a year of battling back and forth with The Skyscrapers, what a great tag team – dynamic, big, rough athletic dudes – getting that victory at the signal at Chattanooga on MLW ‘Fusion’ was great and it’s the 10th time.”

At 42 years old, Gallows has maintained elite conditioning alongside his longtime partner. The wrestler noted that both he and Anderson feel reinvigorated despite their extended tenures in professional wrestling, which began with Gallows’ WWE main roster debut in 2006. The pair recently completed an extensive international tour spanning Mexico, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and the United States.

Gallows indicated that challengers to their newly won titles should prepare for a formidable defense. He referenced their signature finishing maneuver and expressed confidence in their ability to retain the championship through their proven technical prowess and intensity inside the ring.

Looking ahead, Gallows and Anderson will host “Talkin’ Shop Live,” their collaborative podcast, on September 11 at The Windjammer in Charleston, South Carolina. The event will take place before MLW’s subsequent round of televised tapings.
