Dawn Marie, a prominent figure in Extreme Championship Wrestling during the mid-1990s and World Wrestling Entertainment in the early 2000s, announced last week that she would be launching an OnlyFans account. The 55-year-old New Jersey native, who currently works as a nurse, emphasized to Fox News Digital that her content will maintain a family-friendly approach without any explicit material or controversial collaborations.
In describing her new venture, Marie characterized it as lighthearted and engaging while maintaining clear boundaries. “It’s going to be fun. It’s going to be flirty,” she stated, adding emphatically that nudity would not be part of her offering. The subscription page carries a monthly cost of $12.95 for interested followers.
Marie attributed her decision partly to physical consequences sustained during her wrestling career. Years of in-ring work, particularly injuries to her neck, have complicated her nursing profession, prompting her to think strategically about her family’s financial security as a single mother. She expressed concern about long-term financial stability and her children’s ability to complete their education without incurring substantial debt.
Having returned to professional wrestling appearances recently, Marie said the momentum motivated her to explore new opportunities. She stressed that her participation in OnlyFans represents self-acceptance and celebration of her current life stage. “I’m not trying to be the Dawn Marie of 20 years ago,” she told Fox News Digital. “I’m trying to be the Dawn Marie that’s 55 and embracing it.”
Marie’s wrestling career began in 1995 with an independent promotion in New Jersey before she advanced through East Coast venues and eventually ECW and WWE. She departed the major promotion in 2005 but made a notable return in 2024 at NXT Halloween Havoc as a special guest referee. She described her recent return to the ring as profoundly meaningful, calling the experience both initially intimidating and ultimately reassuring.
