Miami Hurricanes running back Jordan Lyle was taken into custody Thursday on a warrant issued by the Sunrise Police Department, authorities confirmed Friday. The 20-year-old athlete faces charges including fleeing and eluding at a high speed and reckless driving, according to the Broward State Attorney’s Office.
Lyle was released from custody the same day following his arrest after posting a $55,000 bond, prosecutors stated. No additional information regarding the circumstances of the incident was made available at the time of the announcement.
