A four-alarm fire ignited on Crescent Terrace in Belleville, New Jersey, shortly before 3:15 a.m., rapidly spreading to at least one neighboring structure on the residential dead-end street. Emergency responders arrived to find flames consuming multiple homes as the blaze expanded across the area.
The fire’s quick progression from the initial structure to adjacent properties presented significant challenges for firefighting crews working to contain the expanding emergency.
