Authorities have launched a manhunt for a pair of masked assailants who fired multiple shots at a woman standing outside a Throggs Neck residence. The incident left the victim with injuries that are not expected to be life-threatening, according to law enforcement officials at the scene.
The two suspects fled the area in an SUV immediately following the shooting. Police have released limited details about the vehicle’s description and direction of travel as the investigation into the attack continues.
Detectives are appealing to the public for information about the identities of the gunmen and any surveillance footage that may have captured the shooting or the suspects’ escape route.
