Authorities arrested a man in Miramar after he allegedly stabbed his brother during a heated dispute that erupted Saturday evening. The confrontation occurred in the 6900 block of Southwest 26th Street, where police say the suspect produced a pocket knife and wounded his sibling during their disagreement.
Emergency responders transported the injured brother to Memorial Regional Hospital with injuries determined to be non-life-threatening. Law enforcement responded swiftly to the incident, with backup from a Broward Sheriff’s Office helicopter and K9 units from Pembroke Pines police assisting in apprehending the suspect.
The suspect was taken into custody without resistance, though his identity has not yet been released by Miramar police. Investigators continue to gather additional details regarding the circumstances that led to the violent confrontation between the two men.
