Rep. Rob Menendez disclosed that a third death has occurred at Delaney Hall detention facility. The fatality is believed to have taken place roughly two weeks before the announcement, during the intake screening process at the facility.
The detainee suffered a seizure while undergoing intake procedures, which led to the fatal incident. The discovery adds to mounting concerns regarding conditions and safety protocols at the detention center.
