
A 25-year-old was fatally shot in the Fuller Park area of Chicago’s South Side in the predawn hours of Saturday. The shooting took place at approximately 2:55 a.m. in the 4800 block of South Princeton Avenue, according to Chicago Police Department officials.
The man sustained a gunshot wound to the head while standing outdoors when the shooting occurred. He was transported by paramedics to Provident Hospital of Cook County, where he was pronounced dead immediately upon arrival.
The victim’s name has not been disclosed by authorities at this time. The Chicago Police Department reports that no arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing as detectives work to establish the facts and motives connected to the incident.
