Ana Navarro Praises Hunter Biden as ‘Riveting’ Guest, Defends His Income Sources

Television personality Ana Navarro featured Hunter Biden on her podcast this week, offering enthusiastic commentary about their extended conversation and mounting a defense of his past income sources. Navarro, who appears regularly on ABC’s “The View,” broadcast the interview on her “Bleep! with Ana Navarro” podcast and addressed longstanding questions surrounding Biden’s compensation from Ukrainian energy firm Burisma.

During the episode, Navarro drew a sharp contrast between scrutiny applied to Biden’s Burisma payments and the substantially larger financial gains accumulated by the Trump family during the recent presidency. She characterized the disparity as emblematic of unequal treatment in public debate and suggested that Republican criticism of Biden’s compensation lacked proportionality.

Navarro stated on the program that Biden had been “dragged through the coals” and summoned to congressional hearings regarding his Burisma earnings, which she described as negligible compared to the “billions of dollars that the Trump family has made off the presidency.”

The podcast host explained her motivation for inviting Biden as a guest stemmed from his increasingly visible comedic presence on social media platforms. She noted that Biden had developed a reputation for delivering witty remarks with humorous intent across multiple online venues.

Navarro cited Biden’s quip about cocaine discovered at the White House in July 2023 as evidence of his comedic abilities. When asked about his potential connection to the substance, Biden responded by joking that he would not have forgotten his cocaine, according to Navarro’s retelling.

The Secret Service investigation into the White House cocaine incident concluded without identifying responsibility for the substance. The FBI subsequently launched its own investigation into the matter in 2025.

Navarro characterized her conversation with Biden as consistently engaging and absorbing throughout their ninety-minute discussion. However, she noted that scheduling conflicts emerged when the interview aired simultaneously with a major international soccer match.

According to House Oversight Committee records, Burisma paid Hunter Biden and associate Devon Archer $1 million annually starting in 2014 after they joined the company’s board, while Biden’s father served as Vice President overseeing U.S. policy toward Ukraine.

Biden testified before Congress in a closed-door deposition in February 2024 during the Republican-led investigation into his father’s conduct. The full House ultimately declined to pursue impeachment charges.

Navarro also defended Biden’s painting career, contending that critics unfairly targeted his art sales. She emphasized that Biden had maintained a lifelong commitment to painting and that safeguards existed during his father’s presidency to prevent conflicts of interest.

The White House quickly disputed Navarro’s comparison, asserting that Trump’s adult children oversee established business operations while questioning Biden’s credibility and professional standing. White House Communications Director Steven Cheung delivered a harsh rebuttal to Fox News Digital, contrasting Trump’s children as successful business leaders with derogatory characterizations of Biden.

Documents from Biden’s former art representative Georges Bergès revealed that anonymity protections for purchasers were not implemented until September 2021. Bergès’s records indicated that Biden maintained personal connections with approximately 70 percent of his art buyers.

Washington Post analysis determined that ten collectors paid a combined $1.5 million for Biden’s artwork, with Biden receiving $900,000 of that total. A separate Reuters examination from June showed that Trump and his sons generated at least $2.3 billion through cryptocurrency ventures initiated after his recent political comeback.
